1938, weatherboard cladding with corrugated iron roof and a mix of wooden and aluminium joinery.

This is a spacious tidy home.  All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and all would fit a queen size bed.  The kitchen is compact but very functional and a modernised bathroom is off the hallway with an extra toilet located off the laundry.  Adjoining the kitchen is a large dining/family area that includes an area where the fire used to be.  A large ranchslider comes off this room leading outside.

Two piece shift

The full price includes GST, Insurance, the first 50km of transport and a new standard treated timber pile foundation into good ground, on a site with good access.

If an ex-yard price is listed.  Ex yard means the above is NOT included and this is the price for you to arrange your own Insurance, Transport and Foundations.

What's Included in the Price?

Unless stated in the house description and buildings that have come off concrete floors, all prices include:

  • supply of the house/building,
  • delivery on to a flat and accessible site within 50 kilometres of our Hamilton yard
  • new standard treated timber pile foundations
  • insurance and GST.

We can deliver most places in the North Island - extra kilometres are $20.00 incl GST per km per piece for 50km to 100km and $30.00 per km per piece thereafter. We will inspect the route to determine whether the building sections can physically fit.

We can also relocate buildings on to sloping sites, on to a basement or on to sites with less than simple access - ask one of our staff about the extra costs involved.

If the house has been cut into two or more pieces, they will be structurally tied together again. Likewise, if the roof needs to be lowered in order to be shifted, it is re-erected again at the new destination.

The house is affixed to the foundations with galvanised steel fixings. Insurance is also included for the duration of the contract.
