The word bungalow is used differently across the world. In some parts of the word it refers to a residential building and small in size.
Common features of a bungalow house include a verandah and being low-rise. Bungalows are great for it's convenience as it is usually a one-storey building and suited to those who have low mobility and requires less cleaning compared to a two storey or larger home.
The bungalow style home was very popular in New Zealand and Australia around 1920 - 1940.
